Perhaps it was because of the many hours I spent  sweeping hair at my Aunt’s “beauty parlor”  in the Bronx as a kid.  From a very young age I have been fascinated by hair, and the impact it can have on how a person feels and looks.

 

Shortly after I was done with college (and having declared a major I knew I’d never pursue as a career), I enrolled in beauty school.  

 

Fast forward to today.  I have been very lucky to have spent my entire life in New York City, with the opportunity to work with some of the best and most talented people in the industry.   I started as an assistant on Madison Avenue and 2 years later was busy doing hair on my own.  

 

I have had the privilege to work with several hair color companies testing, promoting and selling hair color.  Clairol Professional and L’Oreal Professional are just a couple.  Most recently I have helped with the launching of Color and Co, an excellent and revolutionary way to color hair at home.

 

But by far, hair extensions is what I have found to be the most  rewarding part of my career.  Hair extensions are not just an accessory, but for many women a pychological must.  I have seen women transformed and their lives changed (really!) by having more hair.  Like everything I have done with my career I wanted to be the best.  I have sought some of the best hair extension manufacturers that work with ethically sourced quality hair and learned and became certified in their methods.  Some of these companies include Great Lengths bonded extensions, Hot Heads tape in extensions and Dream Catchers Micro link extensions.
